• NATURAL RESOURCES

    A combination of subject matter and planned learning experiences dealing with conservation and natural resources such as air, forests, soil, aquatics, plants, and wildlife are a part of this course. Students are able to explore interests and pursue careers in forestry, horticulture, land­scaping, recreational land use, environmental protection, and a variety of related careers. The three main areas of the program are: forestry, landscaping, and horticulture. Stu­dents are also instructed in the use of chainsaws, tractors, log loaders, mowers, greenhouse operation, surveying equipment, and other equipment and tools used in the natural re­sources fields.
