Stay on top of the planning process.
If you wish to apply to a 4-year college or university, you will want to take the ACT and/or the SAT in the spring of your Junior year or the fall of your Senior year. Registration for these tests is completed online.SATACTFind out where your high school CTE program will get you college credit.
Dual Enrollment, Traditional Articulation Agreements, and State-Wide Articulation Agreements:VTC students have the opportunity to go college, often with credits earned while at VTC. Through state-wide articulation agreements, students can earn up to twelve credits!
Be aware of scholarships for which you can apply.
There are scholarships (money that does not need to be repaid) available to high school students who intend to pursue higher education at trade schools, community colleges, and 4-year colleges and universities. Check out the Scholarships & Opportunities Bin in Student Services for information and applications.Take advantage of opportunities for growth and career exploration.
Programs for students of all ages exist to provide insight on career opportunities and personal growth. As these become available, we will post information on the Scholarships & Opportunities Bulletin and post them on the Student Services wall.
