Basic Machine Certification
This three-part class provides students with foundational knowledge and hands-on skills in machining. Instruction emphasizes shop safety, print reading, precision measurement, basic milling machine operations, and basic lathe operations. All three modules must be successfully completed to earn the certificate.
Prerequisite: Module 1 is a prerequisite for both Module 2 and Module 3.
Module 1: Introduction to Shop Safety, Print Reading and Measurement (20 Hours)

Module 3: Basic Lathe Operations (20 Hours)
Introduction to Industrial Maintenance
This is a foundational electrical course, introducing topics such as electric fundamentals, safety procedures, tools and equipment, electrical specifications and codes, wiring methods, service and distribution systems, grounding, transformers, motors and motor controls, as well as basic maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. The course is designed to build a solid understanding of electrical systems and safe work practices.

Introduction to Industrial Welding I
This course introduces the fundamentals of shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), commonly known as stick welding. Instruction focuses on the use of 1/8" welding rod and covers welding techniques in the flat, horizontal, and vertical-up positions. Emphasis is placed on proper setup, technique, and safe welding practices.
Safety glasses and a long-sleeved cotton shirt are required for all class sessions.

Introduction to Industrial Welding II
This course builds upon the foundational skills learned in Welding I by advancing students’ technical proficiency, precision, and understanding of welding processes. The course emphasizes intermediate techniques in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG), along with weld inspection and proper joint preparation. Students gain hands-on experience welding in multiple positions and working with a variety of metals and thicknesses while reinforcing safety standards, equipment maintenance, and industry best practices.
Safety glasses and a long-sleeved cotton shirt are required for all class sessions.

PA Auto Vehicle Safety Inspection
This course provides the required twelve hours of classroom instruction, baseline testing, and both written and hands-on examinations needed for certification in one inspection category. Additional special categories, including Enhanced Vehicle Safety Inspection or Document Reviewer, may be added for an additional fee and require separate testing. Currently, testing is available for Categories One, Two, and Four. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, and have a basic working knowledge of automotive mechanics and vehicle repair. 100% attendance is required to be eligible for testing.

Emergency Medical Responder
Based on the national education standards for EMR, as approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, this program trains initial responders in providing emergency medical care prior to hospital arrival. Successful program completers are eligible to take National Registry certification exams for Emergency Medical Responder. Illustrated skills are medical and trauma emergencies, pediatric and geriatric emergencies, behavior and substance emergencies, airway management (CPR and oxygen), patient assessment, medical terminology and ethics, as well as transportation operations and vehicle extrication. The student must be 16 years of age, meet all requirements for the Functional Job Description of EMR and complete FEMA independent study courses for NIMS IS-100 and NIMS IS-700.

Successful program completers are eligible to take National Registry certification exams for Emergency Medical Technician. (180-hour hybrid program with 80 hours of in person, hands on training and 100 hours of required online self-study learning)
Dental Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) Board Review
Get exam-ready with this focused review course designed to prepare dental professionals for the Radiation Health and Safety (RHS) Board Exam. Geared toward practicing dental assistants and those with prior dental assisting experience, this course reinforces essential radiographic concepts, radiation protection standards, and board-tested material. Included materials—textbook, workbook, and practice exam—are designed to strengthen comprehension and improve exam performance.

Medical Terminology
This class is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the medical field and focuses on developing a working knowledge of medical terminology used in healthcare settings. Instruction includes practical, hands-on activities such as labeling anatomical diagrams, correct pronunciation of medical terms, and applying the language commonly used in medical offices, insurance environments, and related healthcare organizations.

Introduction to Anatomy & Physiology
This is a great introductory course to prepare for Licensed Practical Nursing or other medical education courses. Students will learn the fundamental study skills to be successful in the medical field. Students will also examine the structure and function of the human body, exploring how different systems interact together to maintain health.
Prerequisite: Medical Terminology

Introduction to Photography Workshop
This is a beginner course in photography to explain core photography principles, discover photo shooting and editing tools, and explore lighting, landscapes, backgrounds and posing. Students may use any smartphone (iPhone or Android) or digital camera. The professional instructor will assign small projects to provide direct feedback to the student.
