Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL) Training

Financial assistance may be available for qualified applicants through Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), PA CareerLink, Sallie Mae, etc.  Job placement assistance is also offered.

Third Party CDL Testing with small class sizes!

Enrollment Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Have an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Pass a Department of Transportation physical
  • Pass a drug screening

This 160-hour training program prepares participants to obtain a Class A CDL with air brakes in the state of Pennsylvania. The curriculum emphasizes over-the-road driving, industry awareness, and DOT safety regulations. By the end of the program, participants will have the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to pass both the written and tactile exams required for a Class A CDL with air brakes. Students will take the driver’s exam at PA PRIDE's third-party testing site. Graduates will be equipped to pursue employment with local, regional and national trucking companies.
